Unfortunate about the guy on the left trying to take over the singing for the band - other than that this source sounds better to my ears than the other two.
Never been sold on DPA mics but the last couple recordings of Alex's are starting to change my mind…

Great show, but...
someone needs to cut off the heckler's balls and shove them in his mouth to shut him up! Jesus this guy is obnoxious as hell

focus on the positive
Here's to GD SUPERFAN #1 ;)
The Truckin' > Deal rocked, Jackie's vocals were on point. The Low Spark > Passenger was sick and Shakedown > Cumberland was a nice surprise in the first set. The second set was out of control as well. Russo sounded great as did Medeski. Warren was killer as usual. Between Jackie and Warren the guitar sound was perfect! Phil was ripping the whole night.
This recording sounds just like the venue, nice and crisp plus a warmth newer venues don't have. Phil & Friends played for 3 hours and 20 minutes, ya gotta love it!!

a valiant effort in tight quarters
this quality recording screams at you to turn it louder and louder.Omit the heckler from this recording.neighbors at shows can be defiant and harassing but this pull shines w/ grateness.Enjoy,McQ

Good Show/Annoying Fan
I was there a good show. And am grateful for the recorder. But the d-bag , amateur, obnoxious, out of key singer plagues this recording at times. Someone should have hit him in the face with their fist repeatedly.
Other than that a good show and good sound. Thanks.

Could the screamer during Viola Lee Blues...
...please send Alex (the taper) his name so Alex can note his musical contribution in the info text? I mean, people normally exaggerate their singing and shouting at shows to be noticed as "the biggest fan". So whataya say, pal? You got your wish. You got noticed. Surely you want the credit.
Don't you? ;-)

They sound awesome, except for the jackass who keeps singing / talking over the recording. "Stop the chickensh!t ..." right before Wheel > VLB!
Come on man!
